Modern Slavery Policy

1. Introduction

Celix Pharma is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all its forms within its business and supply chains. This policy outlines our commitment to eliminating modern slavery and sets out the actions we will take to ensure compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

2. Policy Statement

Celix Pharma acknowledges its responsibility to uphold the fundamental principles of human rights, including the elimination of modern slavery, forced labor, and human trafficking. We are committed to ensuring that our business operations and supply chains are free from such practices.

3. Scope

This policy applies to all employees and contractors, suppliers, and other business partners associated with Celix Pharma.

4. Responsibilities

Senior Management: The senior management team is responsible for overseeing the implementation of this policy and ensuring that adequate resources are allocated to effectively address modern slavery risks.

Employees: All employees are expected to familiarise themselves with this policy, report any concerns related to modern slavery, and cooperate with efforts to combat it.

5. Risk Assessment

Celix Pharma will conduct regular risk assessments to identify and evaluate the risk of modern slavery within its operations and supply chains. This may include assessing the geographical location of suppliers, the nature of their business, and other relevant factors.

6. Due Diligence

Celix Pharma eneavors to develop its polcies and procedures to assess and monitor our suppliers and contractors to ensure they comply with our standards regarding modern slavery.  This may include conducting site visits, audits, and reviews of supplier documentation. 

7. Training and Awareness

We will provide training and awareness during onboarding new employees, and ongoing training to our employees to ensure they understand the risks of modern slavery and how to identify and report any concerns effectively.

8. Reporting Mechanisms

Celix Pharma encourages the reporting of any concerns related to modern slavery. Reports will be investigated promptly and appropriate action taken.

9. Compliance and Monitoring

Compliance with this policy will be monitored regularly, and any breaches will be addressed promptly. We will review and update this policy as necessary to ensure its effectiveness.

10. Communication

This policy will be communicated to all employees, and other relevant stakeholders. 

11. Review

This policy will be reviewed annually and updated as necessary to reflect changes in legislation, best practices, or our business operations.

Celix Pharma is committed to continually improving its efforts to combat modern slavery and will work collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve this goal.
